What is a sitemap? How is a sitemap used?

A sitemap collects all the website links for Search Engine Optimization and enables 


A sitemap is a container that holds all the links of a website. In SEO optimization, generating a sitemap facilitates search engine crawlers to easily access and index the website's pages. A sitemap clearly illustrates the website's structure and is typically stored in the root directory, named as sitemap.


A sitemap is a web page navigation document generated based on the website's structure, framework, and content, and it can effectively enhance user experience.


When editing the site, choose the website, then select 'Sitemap' from the menu. You will see two options.


Auto-Generate: After selecting the domain, click 'Auto-Generate' to create the website's sitemap, as shown in the following image:

Manual Upload: Click 'Manual Upload', choose the domain, and then click 'Upload File', as shown in the following image:
